What is Landport?

A: Landport is an easy to use, Internet Driven® solution (U.S. Patent #8,180,661) for managing commercial offices, residential properties, school campuses, government buildings, etc.  It’s proven to save time and money, and it’s one of the easiest, most cost-effective solutions available.

How does Landport work?

A: Landport operates as a simple 4-step process:

  1. Requesters (Tenants, employees, residents, etc.) submit maintenance requests via a generic or customized website.
  2. Property or facility managers are notified according to their personal preference (email or text message) and automatically log-in to review the details.
  3. They then compose work orders and dispatch to maintenance staff.  They can also solicit proposals from preferred service vendors, who are notified according to their personal preference
  4. Vendors respond with online bids and/or service schedules, and once the work is completed and approved, submit electronic invoices.

Do I need to download any software and upgrade it in the future?  What if I switch to a different computer?

A: Any computer with Internet access is all that’s needed.  You can also access Landport using a smartphone.  No software is needed to download.  System upgrades are automatic.  Landport is ideal for geographically-dispersed property or facilities, minimizing the need to travel between sites.  Landport keeps everyone up-to-date from any location. 

Is my data secure and safe?

A: All information is safe and secure on Landport's servers.  User data is confidential.  All actions on work orders are tracked and logged to insure integrity of critical information. Requests for proposals, bids, invoices and electronic building logs are protected from unauthorized access. Data security is also maintain through iron-clad, daily back-ups of user data.  Users never have to worry about losing their valuable data if their own computers fail.  

If I'm a property or facility manager, how do I get my site plan or building information into Landport?  

A: Site plan and building information can be easily entered into Landport through our data import process and online user administration interface.  Once the data is entered, it is secure and safe on Landport's servers.  It can be changed, added to or quickly updated at any time.

If I'm a property or facility manager, how do I get my service vendors and suppliers to register and use Landport?  What about my users (tenants, employees, residents, etc?) 

A: All that's needed is for the property or facility manager to supply us with a list of their frequently used service vendors and suppliers. We'll contact, register and train them on how to operate Landport.  We'll do the same for tenants, employees, residents, etc.

How many users can I have? 

A: Landport offers unlimited users at a flat monthly fee - it’s a simple, scalable, predictable business model.

How long does it take to get the system up and running.  Is training available? 

A: Landport account set up is fast and non-disruptive. Setup and training can be completed in less than two weeks. Managers can be trained in one hour. Maintenance staff and service vendors typically takes less than 10 minutes.

Do you offer support after the system is operational?
